Portrait of Walter Tsui, Co-Founder & CEO of CareER.

“Disability isn't a setback or something to hide—it's a natural stage of life that anyone may experience. Embracing our true identity transforms lived experience into a strategic strength.”

Walter Tsui is a visionary leader in disability inclusion across Asia. As a professional with lived experience of visual impairment, his lifelong commitment and strategic focus have transformed CareER from a grassroots peer network into Hong Kong's premier talent avenue and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Disability Inclusion and Accessibility) consultancy.

Prior to co-founding CareER in 2014, Walter gained valuable experience working within several multinational corporations, giving him a deep understanding of corporate environments. Driven by a strong commitment to serving the Hong Kong community, he has been nominated to serve on various committees hosted by the HKSAR Government and other statutory bodies to help shape local inclusion policies.

Extending his impact to the younger generation of business and community leaders, Walter shares his expertise as a guest lecturer across Hong Kong’s top academic institutions. He speaks on advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion within the private sector at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s (HKUST) MBA programme, as well as at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in their Master’s and undergraduate Social Work programmes.
