Deutsche Bank – CareER Scholarship Programme

The Deutsche Bank – CareER Scholarship Programme is set up to give recognition to students with disabilities or special educational needs (SEN), who also have a strong interest and passion in the business, banking, and finance industry in Hong Kong, in the pursuit of excellence in participating in community services and commitment to the community, achievement in extra-curricular activities and their willingness to challenge themselves to experience new exposures.

Core Objectives:

  1. Identity Empowerment: To empower beneficiaries by fostering a strong sense of disability acceptance and encouraging a lifelong spirit of giving back to the wider disability and SEN community.

  2. Industry Networking & Mentorship: To provide beneficiaries with the unique opportunity to network with Deutsche Bank mentors, gain insights into global financial institutions, and exchange practical knowledge to better navigate their career aspirations.

  3. Career Development & Readiness: To enhance beneficiaries’ employment readiness by supporting their pursuit of targeted professional training, academic studies, or the acquisition of necessary assistive equipment and technology.
