Structured Guidance & Training

Training Workshops: We organise a rich array of career workshops ranging from job skills training to advanced career coaching to better support our members in career advancement.

Career Advising : A guided and practical process that supports members in making informed career decisions and taking actionable steps toward their career goals. It aims to provide guidance in career development, including identifying career goals, assessing core competencies, strengthening personal branding, and interview preparation.

CareER Thriving Grass Career Development Programme

Our flagship internship program bridges the gap between academic life and corporate realities. It gives you early workplace exposure, allowing you to test your technical skills in real-world corporate settings while receiving structured support from CareER.

Job Matching

CareER provides comprehensive job-matching services for inclusive employers and CareER members with disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Job-matching service in three stages. Before matching: assess employer readiness and business needs, and provide one-to-one career consultation for candidates. Matching: collect vacancies, screen the CareER talent pool, shortlist profiles, arrange interviews, prepare and follow up with candidates, then support offers, onboarding and workplace accommodations. After matching: provide regular follow-up and on-the-job support, career coaching or counselling, and referrals to NGO partners when needed.

Flagship Annual Event: Inclusive Recruitment Forum (IRF)

This specialized career fair connects you directly with employers who are actively seeking your talent. As a member, you can explore dedicated recruitment booths, network directly with inclusive employers, and discover their latest professional career tracks.

Inclusive Leadership Development Camp

A two-day leadership training camp aims to bring CareER members together and build a support network. Through team-building activities, participants will gain understanding of each other’s unique ability, gain confidence in themselves and in others, and develop soft skills such as problem-solving and communication skills.

Holistic Wellbeing & Counselling Support

True career readiness requires emotional resilience. In collaboration with Gears Counselling and Development Centre, we offer tailored professional guidance:

  • Part I: Individual Counselling Sessions

    One-on-one sessions led by Professional Social Workers to help you navigate personal challenges, self-acceptance, and workplace disclosure with confidence.

  • Part II: Group Counselling Sessions
